ocal governments face growing pressure to deliver more services, meet increasing compliance requirements, strengthen cybersecurity and attract specialist talent, all while managing constrained budgets.

Many of these challenges are difficult for a single council to solve alone.

Join Sharon Jankowiak and Tracey Sigge, as they share the story behind the award-winning collaboration between East Gippsland Shire Council and Wellington Shire Council, recognised with the LGPro Innovative Leadership Initiative Award.

This session explores how two regional councils came together with a shared vision, combined expertise and resources, and created a model that delivered better outcomes for both organisations and their communities.

The discussion will explore how collaboration can help councils access capabilities that may otherwise be difficult to achieve independently, and how modern cloud technology can enable new models of shared services, shared expertise and shared success
